Medals won by our past vintage Brut
Tasting notes
Bright gold, with an effusive nose of Dabinett apple, green apricot, and fresh-baked croissant. Spring hedgerow notes of apple blossom and white flowers make for a pretty, seasonal bouquet, underpinned by a rich toastiness from extended lees ageing. The palate shows youth but with much potential for development on cork. Fine-boned acidity and good weight support notes of fresh dough, apple skin, and an appealing 'natural' profile resulting from super low dosage. 2022 was an excellent vintage and this is undoubtedly an excellent wine in the making. Hold for a few months if you can!

Viticulture
Annus mirabillis! Good spring with little frost damage. Excellent and near perfect flowering. Exceptionally hot summer (max 40c) allied to a warm September and October with median temperatures above 15 degrees. No disease pressure. Yields reduced due to a poor 2021 which dictated budding initiation, but the grapes were beautifully ripe. In 2022 went full steam ahead with our biodynamic viticulture and the efforts showed great results.
